ACTIVE DRIVING ASSIST

STANDARD SAFETY AND SECURITY FEATURES

The Grand Cherokee includes a full range of safety and security features that help keep you and your family secure.

Cruise with confidence thanks to Available Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go that can automatically adjust your driving speed to maintain a pre-selected distance from the vehicle ahead.

The Active Lane Management System measures your position within lane boundaries. If the system detects an unintentional lane drift, it can alert you and correct the vehicle back into its lane. The system also provides steering correction to help avoid collision with surrounding vehicles in your blind spots.

Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking and Pedestrian/Cyclist Detection uses sensors at the front of the vehicle and can alert you to a potential frontal impact or unseen obstacles. The vehicle can automatically engage the brakes if you don't respond.

Backing up or parking is made simple with a clear view of what's behind you with Parkview® Rear Back up Camera. Plus, Parksense® Front and Rear Park Assist provides advanced assistance to put your Grand Cherokee in precisely the right spot.

Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path Detection use radar-based sensors to detect other vehicles in your blind spot zones or crossing behind you.

ADVANCED SAFETY AND SECURITY FEATURES

The Grand Cherokee offers cutting-edge available safety and security features to help you monitor driving conditions and can even intervene on your behalf.

The new available 360º Surround View Camera gives you an aerial view of the vehicle and its surroundings to better navigate around nearby objects and narrow turns.

Available Night Vision uses thermographic technology and infrared sensors scan for pedestrians and animals up to 100 meters ahead. Their positions are outlined in the instrument cluster in front of you.

At crossroads, the available Intersection Collision Assist helps detect other vehicles. In the case of a possible collision, the system will provide audible and visual alerts.

Standard on Summit Reserve, Drowsy Driver Detection tracks vehicle movement and driver interaction to spot patterns of drowsiness. If detected, the system can send the driver an audio and visual signal to take precautions.

This available system recognizes open parking spaces and steers the vehicle while it directs you to shift gears and operate the brake and accelerator.

TRAFFIC SIGN RECOGNITION

Available Traffic Sign Recognition uses a forward-facing camera to identify speed limit and common traffic signs, such as school zones or crosswalks. It’s a standard feature on Summit Reserve.
